Correlation between Digestion & Acne

If you have tried all sorts of external remedies for your acne (i.e. skincare, laser treatments etc) but is still suffering from acne, the acne might be caused by poor digestion.

Try eating whole foods that are rich in fruits & vegetables and introducing nuts and seeds into your diet.

We all know that we need to hydrate our bodies for OPTIMAL HEALTH. Drinking water helps us maintain the balance of our bodily fluids. Our bodies are composed of about 60% water. You can tell that you're drinking enough water when your urine is on the light side. If the urine is dark and there's not much of it, then you're likely not drinking enough water. You are drinking enough water if your urine is abundant and you have to empty your bladder about every two or three hours. However, if you're going constantly, you could be drinking too much water. Keep in mind that when you first start to increase water consumption, you WILL be in the bathroom more often than you're used to, but don't worry, that will only last a few days and then your body will adjust.

1. Start your day with a cup of warm lemon water. Sweeten with stevia leaf or raw honey if needed.
